Give Your Smile a New Start
If you have a cavity that has been left untreated for a long time or you’ve suffered an accident that fractured a tooth, it’s very easy for the innermost layer of the tooth, the dental pulp, to become infected. This is where the nerve of the tooth is located, so this infection can be extremely painful.
The solution? With a root canal, we can remove this tissue and relieve your pain in as little as one appointment. Thanks to modern dental techniques such as local anesthesia, this often dreaded procedure is now no more painful than getting a small filling.
Why Root Canal Therapy is Needed:
- Trauma or injury to the tooth
- A severe abscess or infection has developed
- Decay has reached the tooth pulp (the living tissue inside the tooth)
- Restore the beauty of your smile

ROOT CANAL PROCEDURE
Root canal procedures will usually require more than one visit to our dental office. Using special instruments, the dentist will remove nerve tissue, bacteria, pulp, and any present tooth decay. Once the tooth is thoroughly cleaned, it is sealed by a filling.
At the next appointment (usually a week after the first appointment), the roots and inner cavity of the tooth will be filled and sealed with medicated dental materials. The tooth will then be sealed with a filling, and then a crown (cap). This will protect the tooth, prevent further breakage, and restore full functionality.
Patient Care and Satisfied Results Matter
